Revised IRB-ITHS Application Form Required as of October 10, 2008
The Institutional Review Board-Institute of Translational Health Sciences (IRB-ITHS) joint application (formerly IRB-SAC application) is being revised as the result of requirements set by the Clinical Translational Science Award (CTSA). Working together, the IRB and ITHS have completed these revisions, which represent improvements that will streamline the application process.
The revised IRB-ITHS application is available here: revised application (DOC 522KB). Researchers may begin to use the revised application now in submitting a new study for review (and the ITHS would encourage researchers to do so for the purposes of providing feedback). Use of the revised application will be required as of October 10, 2008.
Revision Highlights:
The IRB-ITHS application revisions are part of a revised submission process for accessing the Children’s Pediatric Clinical Research Center, ITHS, Clinical Research Center Network (CRCN), and associated resources, which has been implemented and is posted at the ITHS Web site at: http://www.iths.org/ResearchResources/Applications/default.aspx.
